The Zire 71 from palm is a solid performing handheld with a plenty of power to keep your life organized. The 16-bit transflective TFT screen has a 320x320 resolution and can display 65,536 colors. Driving the system is a 144MHz TI OMAP310 processor. There is 16MB of RAM for appointments, addresses, music, notes and applications. If that isn’t enough storage there is an SD card slot for additional memory. Since it is an SDIO slot you can also add extra features or run programs directly from cards. The integrated camera lets you take pictures at VGA resolutions of 640x480. Storage is virtually unlimited since you can store pictures to an SD card. When you’re not taking pictures plug in a set of headphones and use the Zire as an MP3 player. In addition to the standard hot keys, the Zire 71 sports a 5-way navigator joystick. The Graffiti pad at the bottom of the screen makes it easy to enter notes and appointments on the go.
